Colin Goldberg’s paintings, works on paper, mixed-media works and prints explore the intersection of abstraction and technology. Goldberg has been investigating this relationship since the 1990’s, when he began his Metagraph series of abstract digital drawings. The artist is a recipient of grants from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and The New York State Council on the Arts. In 2015, he was a resident artist at The Studios of Key West, where he was profiled by PBS. His technology-fueled works have been featured in publications such as WIRED and The New York Times and reside in the permanent collections of the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center and the Islip Art Museum as well as many private collections.
